Who am I to say it any different or to try to say it any better than that, huh? I say we go with it 'cause I know that I feel more true words have never been spoken. Axl sure could raise a disturbance with his words. I don't claim to be able to raise the kind of reactions Axl did. I only hope my blogs make you think before you act in your everyday life.
I, like so many people, sometimes find myself unable to ignore the stupidity around me. So I have taken on this form of release for the things I have chosen not to say directly to the faces of the people who really need to hear them. I, like so many of you, find it so much easier to preach to the choir rather than fight in the streets! I began writing things out that pissed me off in high school for a class project and never really stopped. In all my ventures in life I have always found it helps to write everything down before acting on a decision. Over time this habit of writing things out has become just a little bigger. Now I have started to write online and I'm told that makes me a blogger. I tell ya, I've been called a lot of things in my life, but that one's a first! I'm happy with it though. I'm also quite opinionated, so when I was asked to write editorials for The Weekly Musician I jumped at the chance and continue to write for them. I have written editorials as well as reviews of live band performances and reviews of the reviews on the site. As far as the so called "blogging" goes I find myself, hopefully as you do, driving down the road from time to time screaming at the radio! So I decided that I better write these things out and while I'm at it inform the general public of the outrageous things I see and hear in hopes that they might learn from my ramblings and act accordingly. I hope you enjoy my my rantings, reviews, and opinions, and take the time to write what you think in the forum, but if you don't like what I think and write about and you don't take the time to talk back and get your side out in the forum, you can go fuck yourself! Because if you don't care enough to speak up for your own good, then the rest of us don't give a damn about you anyway! You are a part of the problem. No, you are the problem! You are the apathetic who would snooze cruise everything we know and love into the great white nothing!
